Well, I guess I don’t need to explain any further about HA. The happening event of the year! I had write about it which took place in Ipoh and also KL this year. Guess what? The biggest HA party is coming on the coming month which is November !
Fans of H-Artistry “The Global Art of Mixing” can look forward to the mixing of music at its best at the Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) at Mines Resort City on 12 November 2011.
One of the main thing about HA is the artists lined-up. I am very excited about it because one of my favourite artist is coming! awww <3 <3 <3
Let me introduce the artists of this HA.
LANDY WEN!!! MY FAVOURITE!!! Always that sexy and hot and pretty as ever! You just want to dance with her when she is dancing. Don’t believe?
Taiwanese female R&B vocalist, Landy Wen is a member of the Atayal ethnic group and one of the few Taiwanese aborigines to become a musical star. Apart from singing, Landy has also acted in the Chinese drama, precious. Her foray into the silver screen will also see her play a role in the highly acclaimed Taiwanese action saga, Warriors of the Rainbow due to be released later this year.

Jung-min is also known as the friendliest member in SS501. Known for his confident and playful personality, this Korean sensation has captured the hearts of girls around Asia with his good looks, dance moves, and powerful vocals. This multi-talented 24-year-old has also worked in the musical Grease playing the lead role of 'Danny Park' for which he won the "Golden Ticket Award" for Best Musical New Talent. With one record Yolanda Be Cool have gone straight to the top of the music industry A list. Their second single – ‘We No Speak Americano’ (co-produced with DCUP) sold over 5 million copies and hit number 1 in 18 countries; infiltrating radio waves, TV shows, and pretty much every dance floor in the world over the summer. You’d need to be a Tarantino assassinated corpse to have not felt its impact in some form. Also known as Johnson Peterson and Slyvester Martinez, Yolanda Be Cool have demonstrated that with the panache and production skills to back it up it’s possible to cultivate an international smash hit without the need for a major label vehicle, instead releasing on homegrown Australian indie ‘Sweat It Out’. With over ten years DJing under their belts their musical influences extend far beyond their Native Sydney, from old school hip hop, to Chicago house to techno to pretty much everything in between.

Chris Willis is a singer/songwriter with a knack turning killer tracks into charttopping pop songs and a divo who can go mic-to-mic with the best of the pop divas any day of the week. is the man behind the powerhouse voice currently rocking American Top 40 radio with the hot new dance song, "Love Is Gone." Lifted from "Pop Life," the third album by French superstar producer and DJ, David Guetta, the single won a World Music Award in 2007 and in 2008 won the Winter Music Conference Club Award for "Best Club Anthem Of The Year" and the International Dance Music Award for "Best House/Garage Track." "Love Is Gone" is one of five (5!) singles from "Pop Life" featuring the vocals (and often lyrics) of singer-songwriter, Chris Willis: Others are "Every Time We Touch," "Tomorrow Can Wait," "Never Take Away My Freedom," and "Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)."

Dubbed as The "King of KL Hip Hop", There's more to Goldfish than the Bling-Bling things. The amicable deejay is so versatile on the decks that he can render his skills to anything he wants. A firm crowd favorite, spinning royalty and DMC Champion. Over the years, he has played alongside big names such as Missy Elliott, Kanye West, Linkin Park, Black Eyed Peas and Prodigy.
DJ Blink, has definitely risen from the ranks of the clubbing masses to become an influential proponent of the KL underground scene. Inspired by the rave movement in KL at the turn of the millennium, Blink started DJ’ing progressive house for two years before heeding the ever-nagging call of Hip Hop turntablism. Today, Blink is now regarded as one of KL’s top DJs. To see DJ Blink on the bill would be a sign that you’re in for a night of raucous rhythms, funky beats and the requisite dancing till you drop. He is well known for his Lapsap nights (with partner Xu) as well as his solo sets at Zouk KL. A champion of the new emerging sound where electronica meets indie meets breaks meets anything goes style, you will be hard pressed to pin down the “sound”.

If you’ve been a loyal reader of mine, guess you read about Oktobest in Brotzeit and also Malaysia’s Own Oktoberfest Launch at BTS Hotel. Some of you might be wondering, what exactly is Oktoberfest? What is it all about ?
Oktoberfest a.k.a. 德国啤酒节 is a beer festival which held 16-18 days annually in Munich, Germany, from late September till early October. Oktoberfest has been held since 1810.
‘The Munich Oktoberfest originally took place during the sixteen days up to and including the first Sunday in October. In 1994, the schedule was modified in response to German reunification so that if the first Sunday in October falls on the 1st or 2nd, then the festival would go on until October 3 (German Unity Day). Thus, the festival is now 17 days when the first Sunday is October 2 and 18 days when it is October 1. In 2010, the festival lasted until the first Monday in October, to mark the 200-year anniversary of the event. The festival is held in an area named the Theresienwiese (field, or meadow, of Therese), often called Wiesn for short, located near Munich's center.’ – Taken from Wikipedia
Well, in Malaysia, we can still join in the fun although we are not in Germany.
"Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest" has the popular Carlsberg flowing happily alongside popular German brews which they import namely Erdinger Weissbier, Franziskaner Weissbier and Lowenbrau. This coupled with authentic German cuisine prepared by a master chef, traditional live performances were the ingredients for a great night of fun, girls and of course beer!
The festival, modeled after the Munich Oktoberfest, runs from 21 September to 20 October 2011 at over 25 participating outlets and 18 market squares throughout Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Seremban and Johor.
What’s you expectation for Oktoberfest?
To mark this widely-celebrated festival, Carlsberg Malaysia boasts a month-long extravaganza filled with roaring days of exciting parties, music, authentic gastronomic experiences to whet the appetitie and barrels of Carlsberg, Erdinger Weissbier, Franziskaner Weissbier and Lowenbrau to be downed.
The first thing must be BEER!
Erdinger Weissbier (5.3% ABV), pioneered in the 70's, was the first German wheat to be distributed nationwide in Germany. Erdinger is brewed according to traditional recipes and has no preservatives, additives and pasteurization, complying with the Bavarian Purity Law 1516.
Lowenbrau, (5.2% ABV), an original "German Munich Beer", is famous at Oktoberfests. It is a lager beer that is refreshing with a taste of malt and mild hop bitterness. The beer is light to the taste, bright golden yellow in colour, and tryly complements the Bavarian drinking experience.
Then, is FOOD! German Food!
What you can’t missed is this iconic Oktoberfest heart shaped biscuit. As I mentioned in the previous post, men give this biscuit to their loved one during this festival.
Different phrases will be written on the biscuit such as : I love you, You’re beautiful and etc. This is a way for men to express their feeling to the ladies.
Next, will be MUSIC!
The traditional live performance is really great. I enjoy it very much. Along with the music, is time to have lotsa lotsa LOTSA FUN!!!
People dancing around with each other, and even on the table! O.O
Heard of Chicken Dance?
There’s this popular chicken dance among my friends now after attending Oktoberfest. This dance is cute, simple yet addictive. Next time lets shake shake together :D
One plus point for this event is the pretty ladies in German traditional clothes. They will be appeared in every Oktoberfest event. To catch them, do proceed to Malaysia’s Own Oktoberfest FB page to find out more.
While you are enjoying the beer and have some good time with your friends, do post your photo on their FB wall . There’s a contest going on , and you might be the lucky winner to win a trip to Germany!! Can you bring me go if you won it, please? *puppy eyes*
