Legoland, Nusajaya

Hey look, is Legoland! Yes in Malaysia :)

The long awaited Legoland is finally going to be opened soon. We Malaysian are really excited about it. I am so glad that Legoland is located in Johor Bahru, it is only around 35 minutes drive from my house teehee

Legoland Malaysia is a theme park scheduled to open in Nusajaya, Johor, Malaysia on September 15, 2012 with over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. It will be the first Legoland theme park in Asia upon its establishment. It will be the centrepiece of a 5,500,000 sq ft (510,000 m2) integrated complex in the Nusa Cemerlang industrial park, within the Iskandar Malaysia economic region, consisting of a lifestyle retail centre, offices, hotels, service apartments and residential units. –Wikipedia

You will see this when you are reaching Legoland!  There are quite a number of people here. You can redeem your annual pass now in Legoland if you have bought it beforehand. If you have not, you can still buy it on the spot. The carpark here is HUGE. It is a good thing but the problem is, it is an open carpark. From one end walking to the entrance is quite long, and it is not covered. What if raining? It will be better if they can make it a closed carpark, or at least build some pathway to the entrance. Not to forget there will be plenty of kids around, they might be feeling tired to walk so long even before they start playing in Legoland.

Luckily our car parked pretty near the entrance. But the thing is, from the entrance to the entrance of park is not short either. It feels like a never ending road wtf

When I finally see this, I was like: WAHHHH I FINALLY SAW SOME LEGO WTF

Many counters here but I am not sure about the efficiency. This is for you to tell me when you go to there ok? teehee. At this time, I am already keep WOW WOW WOW. Everything in LEGO! And I haven’t even enter the park hahaha damn sua gu like katak di bawah tempurung wtf

When we were about to enter, I saw this! Ahh then I started queuing to take photo with him before any other of my family realised it. They nearly dumped me alone there T.T Haha but soon after they saw it, they also wanted to take photo! This LegoMan so funny lo. I asked: Can I take a photo with you? He cover his face with the hands, making the shy face. SO CUTE! I believe they have some shift la. Like in Disneyland, each princess and prince will make their appearance to take photo with people in different time. When I were leaving Legoland, the mascot which is taking photo is the Lego Working Man.

Then we entered! Everything in LEGO! So much love! I don’t know why but I have a thing with Lego. I remember spending hours and hours playing lego when I was young. How about you?

All these made by lego!

So what’s inside Legoland?

First, there is this souvenir shop. All kinds of lego-related games/clothes/toys can be found here. And check out the ceiling! All these little men <3

Some of the items in the souvenir shop.

The little man in green will turn his head once in a while. Haha so cute la

More lego…

Quite impressed with their work here. The centrepiece is MINILAND, where Asian landmarks have been recreated using more than 30 million LEGO bricks. It’s an interactive world on a scale of 1:20, where people, trains and aeroplanes come to life at the touch of a button.

Got Roller Coaster! They were testing the equipment that time. And yes, the ride is lego too!

A piece of advice: Put on your sunblock. It is mostly outdoor, you hardly have place to hide from the sun.. I was sweating although I was just taking photos around..

Got boating school and driving school! I guess we guess to drive and sit on the boat? lol

I think this is the car that we can drive! just guessing la. for little kid perhaps hahaha

Only get to enter ‘The Beginning’ part.. And there are 6 more parts! This place is really huge. Did I mention there is this train will be moving around the Legoland so you don’t need to walk till your legs break? And it is made of lego too!! I saw it somewhere in the middle of the park when we were leaving. Can’t wait <3

The park is packed full of family fun with more than 40 rides, shows and attractions. Almost everything is hands-on, so you can push, pedal and program,or steer, squirt and splash, your way through a truly interactive experience – and of course there’s building too. It has seven themed areas of attractions for all ages. It’s an inspirational land where the children are the heroes. From LEGO® experiment centres to rollercoasters, the park is a day-long voyage of discovery for all the family. –Legoland Malaysia

Besides the Legoland Malaysia, other Lego-themed attractions nearby will open sometime. The first one will be a Lego-themed water theme park opening in mid-2013 and the other one is The Legoland Hotel, a Lego-themed hotel located at the theme park and also the first to open in Southeast Asia which will open in the first half of 2014. I saw Tune Hotel is nearby there too.

Nonetheless, this is a great place to spend the entire day with your family and friends. I did enjoy a couple hours there, just by taking photo and amazed at all the art work. Don’t you think lego is an art?
